Now

What has my attention at the moment.

A few months out of Penn, building a small app, and spending a lot of time in West Philadelphia. This is a now page — a snapshot of what I'm focused on, not a résumé. I update it whenever it changes.

Working on. FlowCoach, a native macOS menu-bar app that notices when you drift from what you said you'd work on and nudges you back. Everything runs on-device. It started as a way to fix my own attention, and the interesting problems turned out to be about keeping false positives low without sending anything to a server.

Reading. Nothing I'd recommend yet. A proper list is coming.

Learning. How AI systems learn, and how to tell whether a learned policy is doing what we think it is. Learning theory, adversarial robustness, and interpretability are where my study time goes.

Community. A junior youth program in Cobbs Creek, where I lead a team of college-aged mentors working with middle schoolers, and the organizing team for TransportationCamp PHL. The full list, and how to join in, lives on the community page.
